Truncated Corner Shower Strathpine
In recent months, the technicians at Shower Enclosure Services created and installed screens for a truncated corner shower in Strathpine, north of Brisbane.
Note: As you will see in the photo, a truncated corner shower is where the panels of glass might meet at a different angle to a traditional square join. These are often a great space saving option.
Due to the type of shower, we made three screens – two fixed panels and a pivot door – from 6mm clear toughened glass.
Their measurements were as follows:
- Fixed panel 1: 1924mm high x 537mm wide
- Fixed Panel 2: 1924mm high x 530mm wide
- Pivot door: 1924mm high x 764mm wide
The Strathpine homeowner opted for a semi-frameless shower with the framework made from a bright silver chrome.
Semi-frameless style shower screens are a popular choice, because they give the feeling of open space and offer clean lines, while managing water efficiently.
